Directors need well-developed communication skills in order to articulate expectations, develop values in the group, set boundaries, transmit culture, and virtually every other requirement of their job. This session dives into fundamentals of effective communication, delivering tools and techniques for addressing any issue that arises. Attention will be paid to issues pertaining to culture.
Participants will:
- Discover four communication styles and how to interact with them
- Explore the assumptions they bring to their communication
- Learn how to effectively build rapport
- Develop three powerful questions that can repair relationships quickly
Lunch is included and registration is limited to 50 individuals.
