2027 TEX-ternship Applications are Open
The TRAPS TEX-ternship Program enables outstanding young professionals 30 years of age and younger in the parks and recreation field to interact with and learn from members of the Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS), and other individuals who attend the TRAPS Institute and its associated meetings.
Tex-Ternship Benefits
Each scholarship recipient will be paired with a mentor during Institute from the field of Parks and Recreation and will receive an invitation to a TRAPS leadership event. Additionally, each scholarship includes a $1,000 stipend to help offset the costs associated with attending the Institute, including registration, lodging, transportation, and meals.
Cannot be combined with another scholarship.
